Founded in 2009, Modern Event Rental is a subsidiary of Precision Sound And Lighting, a full service audio, visual and mobile production company launched in 1999. With over 10 years experience in the event industry, the founders of Modern Event Rental recognized a need for alternatives to the cookie-cutter designs of typical outsourced rental event furniture.
The in-house MER designer furniture line was created to offer clients original, affordable, quality-made items suitable for any size event. We proudly design and manufacture every MER item in-house, from furniture to linens and upholstery. We’re also happy to create custom-fabricated pieces for a specific event at the client’s request.
Our dedication to quality extends through our entire company, including quality customer service. We fabricate, deliver, set up and remove pieces in a timely manner and provide a 24-hour emergency number for our clients.
